EB5

GREEN CARD FOR AN IMMIGRANT INVESTOR.

The purpose of the EB-5 Program is to promote economic growth in the United States by attracting foreign investors who can contribute to job creation and capital investment.

The EB-5 visa, which falls under the fifth preference of employment-based visas, offers a pathway to permanent residency for investors and their immediate family members. To qualify for the program, investors must meet the following criteria:

  • Make the required investment in a commercial enterprise within the United States.
  • Have a plan to create or preserve a minimum of 10 permanent full-time jobs for eligible U.S. workers.

Currently, the minimum investment amount stands at $1,000,000.00, with a reduced threshold of $500,000.00 applicable for investments made in targeted employment areas. These areas are designated as areas with high unemployment rates or rural regions.

By participating in the EB-5 Program, investors have the opportunity to obtain a Green Card, granting them and their eligible family members permanent residency in the United States.
